PHA active ingredient fluid

As we age, there is an accumulation of dead corneal cells, in case of blemished skin or impairment of the skin's function. The skin becomes flaky and dull; blackheads, pustules and/or wrinkles start forming. The effects of the environment, especially UV radiation and HEV light, lead to premature photo-ageing.

The polyhydroxy fruit acids and the innovative peptides from lupine contained in the EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO FLUID reduce the strong cohesion of the top skin cells, make the skin supple, improve the absorption of active ingredients and act as free radical scavengers. In addition, the moisture content of the skin is increased and the synthesis of collagen is stimulated. The EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO FLUID is also suitable for sensitive skin/atopic skin and couperose skin and does not make it sensitive to light, in contrast to the Belico AHA CREAMs. This means it can also be used in the summer months.

Gluconolactone is a polyhydroxy fatty acid (PHA) that is found naturally in honey, wine or fruit juice, but also in the human body when it metabolises glucose. It has a strong antioxidant, keratolytic and comedolytic effect. Your complexion will be refined and the skin barrier strengthened. The collagen-degrading enzyme elastase is inhibited, which leads to your skin having improved firmness and a youthful, firm appearance of your skin.

Lactobionic acid is formed by the oxidation of milk sugar and is a galactonic acid, to which the sugar molecule galactose is attached (= bionic acid). It has a twofold effect against the ageing of skin, since on the one hand it inhibits the formation of free radicals and on the other hand, it inhibits the collagen-degrading enzyme MMP (matrix metalloproteinase) in the skin, which develops mainly after exposure to sun rays. Thus, lactobionic acid is especially effective in the area of photo-ageing. Lactobionic acid is also able to capture metals in the skin and has strong pigment-balancing properties. It has a high capacity to retain moisture and is the acid with the highest moisturising properties.

Galactoarabinan is a naturally occurring polymer that is obtained from a special species of larch in North America. It reduces the transepidermal water loss of the skin, improves the appearance of fine wrinkles and has an improving effect on the exfoliating properties.

Lupine peptides strengthen the dermoepidermal junction (DEJ), i.e. the connection between the dermis and the epidermis for improved firmness and resilience of the skin. The activity of the collagen- and elastin-degrading MMP enzymes is inhibited and collagen-producing enzymes are activated.

Urea provides moisture, has a keratolytic and skin-smoothing effect.

Vitamin E has an antioxidant, skin-smoothing and regenerating effect.

Suitable for
Impure skin with large pores, acne comedonica, changes in skin related to age and induced by light, wrinkles, dull and pale complexion, pigmentation spots, all skin types that cannot tolerate the classic AHA/BHA fruit acid creams, sensitive skin with impurities, for everyone who do not wish to avoid fruit acid preparations even in summer, skin damaged by photo-ageing.

Also very suitable as a day cream for very oily skin.

Application
Depending on your needs, the EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO FLUID can be used in support along with the EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO PEELING treatment as home care 2 – 3 times a week. If necessary, it can also be applied more often.

After cleansing the skin, apply the fluid on the skin in the evening and/or morning instead of BASIC CARE and then apply the usual Belico care cream. For very oily skin, it can also be applied solely as the day cream.

The EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO FLUID can also be used as a peeling or mask. Apply to cleansed skin, leave on for 10 - 15 minutes and wash off.

Tip
The EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO FLUID can also be used in the cabin to improve the effect of our masks (especially MASK III, MASK V or the EFFECT – ANTI POLLUTION MASK), in particular, on the hydration of the skin. For this, lightly massage in a small amount of the EFFECT – PHA POWER SENSO FLUID (approx. 1 – 2 minutes) and then apply the mask as usual.
